IVF(SG) is supported by a team of experienced fertility specialists, including doctors, embryologists, and nurses with combined experience to provide comprehensive, reliable and quality fertility care at every stage of your journey.
Fertility Specialists
Our fertility specialist team at works on a roster system, which means you may not always have consultations, investigations or procedures carried out by the same specialist. Whilst you may not always see the same doctor, you have the advantage of being cared for by a team of highly-qualified and experienced specialists working together to deliver your treatment.
An initial consultation can be booked immediately, and during your first consultant with our nurses, you will be introduce to our process at the centre and what to expect. Your IVF treatment can begin soon after your consultation with one of our fertility specialists, depending on your fertility assessment and timing of the menstrual cycle.
Embryologists & Laboratory
Through our partnership with Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore (VFCS), IVF(SG) has access to reproductive medical technology and laboratory capabilities. We work closely with their embryologists and andrologists to deliver the best possible outcomes.
The scientific team is led by Dr. Liow Swee Lian, one of the pioneer team members in developing IVF treatment in Singapore’s public hospital.
The embryologists at VFCS are experienced in IVF, embryo culture, and performing ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) and IMSI (Intracytoplasmic Morphologically-Selected Sperm Injection).
The andrology laboratory collects and analyses semen, providing data on sperm count, motility, and morphology. This information supports fertility specialists in developing treatment plans.
Additionally, the andrology team prepares sperm for IVF and selects the most suitable sperm for ICSI and IMSI procedures.
Fertility Nurses
As part of our treatment model, your patient journey will be supported by our skilled fertility nurses. Trained in fertility care and IVF services, our experienced and caring nurses understand the challenges you face and are with you every step of the way, ensuring you are supported throughout your fertility journey.
They will clearly explain the treatment costs of our unique “one cycle, one price” approach to IVF so you have the peace of mind that there will be no extra costs along the way. Our nurses will break down the medical jargon and terminology used during fertility treatment as well as be available to answer all questions you may have.
Importantly, our nurses will walk alongside you at every appointment at IVF(SG), assisting the fertility specialist on roster with your care. From the very beginning of your treatment, our nurses will guide you through the process, providing comprehensive instructions on how to self-administer the necessary medications, sharing their expertise to help you feel confident and empowered throughout your IVF journey.
They will assist the specialist with monitoring your IVF cycle in the leadup to egg retrieval and are only a phone call away to support you at any time during your treatment.They will book your appointments for ultrasounds, egg retrieval (and sperm sample) and embryo transfer, as well as other tests needed during the IVF treatment.
Our specialist fertility nurses are there to support you and will remain your constant, friendly face throughout your fertility journey with IVF(SG).
