Questions about treatment costs
Is the IVF retrieval price the total cost of IVF?
No. The IVF retrieval package covers the retrieval stage, including stimulation, monitoring, egg retrieval, fertilisation and standard laboratory services. Embryo transfer is a separate stage with its own package price.
Are medications included?
Standard medications are included where stated in the relevant package. If non-standard medication is clinically required, the team will discuss this and any additional cost with you.
Can there be additional costs?
Yes. Specialised investigations, procedures, laboratory services or non-standard medications outside the package may incur additional charges. Where relevant, these should be discussed with you as part of your treatment planning.
Do I need to start IVF after a fertility assessment?
No. The assessment is intended to help you understand your current circumstances. Your consultation with Dr Yeong is an opportunity to review the results and discuss whether any further investigation, support or treatment may be appropriate.
Can I use MediSave?
Eligible patients may be able to use MediSave towards assisted conception procedures, subject to prevailing rules and withdrawal limits. Our team can explain the current provisions in relation to your proposed treatment.
